A PSA to All DeathKnoobs…
Please, please don’t use Army of the Dead against dragons or other bosses on whom positioning is important!!
I know this is old news, but apparently not everyone remembers it. Either that or they are just asshats who think its funny as Cyanigosa flips around in a circle as if she’s a dog chasing her tail while having seizure, pummeling the melee dps with her tail and breathing frosty air on them.
I am dizzy now…. *whimper*

I don’t know what idiot instructor told newbie Death Knights: “When you get to a Boss the FIRST THING YOU DO is pop Army of the Dead!” but they should be dragged out and trampled beneath the ghouls…
The vast majority of DKs don’t know WHY people get upset when they do this unless you take the time to explain it to them.
I was pleasantly surprised the other day when a DK asked if I minded if he popped army on a boss (I think it was the last boss of Gun’Drak, but I could be wrong.)
In a lot of boss situations, I don’t mind, but it makes me much, MUCH less jumpy if I’m forewarned.
Dragons, of course, are the exception, I NEVER want to see Army popped on a Dragon.
I play both sides – I have a DK, and I play with stupid LFD DKs. I *NEVER* pop AotD unless asked. Not even on Black Knight. Well, then, at least I ask if they want me to.
But playing on the other side… hell. The worst I got was when tanking Nexus on my druid. Last boss, I get punted to the other side of the room, TWICE, and only then I notice that what she has targeted was an “Army of the Dead”. After we kill her, me and a guildie go tell the DK to not use AotD on bosses ever, and he gets all pissed at us, saying “he just sped things up”. Right.
It seems that the common sense is thrown out of the window often when it comes to LFD groups and DKs… I see DKs who think they can tank in DPS gear, DKs who pull groups of mobs and deliver them on the tank’s feet (more often than not is the other way around – a ton of mobs come deliver a trampled DK body to our tank.
), DKs who death grip mobs OUT of the tank’s reach (only god know’s why), DK tanks who are just not aware as how squishy tanks they are because they don’t carry a shield and think they can grab the whole instance…
Thanks heavens there are still people around who thinks with their brains, and not with their e-peens… and some of them also play DKs.

i have a pally tank and i am always (much of the times) having fun trying to get back aggro from an AotD!
if not its a fun wipe or cheer over a DK’S body. wichever come first!
