Maraudon – Poison, Disease, and… Vomit?

After a bit of a hiatus, I am leveling my paladin again. I’m finding myself very reluctant to tank since I picked up a Holy offspec. It’s not that I dislike tanking… it is that I dislike leading. I don’t know the instances well at this level at all, and I don’t like wandering around lost. I have a terrible sense of in-game direction, and without the Northrend-style dungeon maps, I’m quite hopeless.

Yesterday I had two Mauradon runs filled with the usual impatient, semi-incompetent puggers. Jardal joined me on his warlock. Mauradon is not one of my favorite places, but at least they’ve broken it up into short chunks that ease the annoyance. Poisons and disease are rampant, and my cleanse button is getting a lot of use.

The first run was very typical. The tank was new and a bit unsure of himself. This led to a lot of out-of-control situations and frantic healing. I also accidentally let Jardal die when I thought he was life-tapping, but actually he was taking damage. Warlocks are the bane of my existence.

The second run was also quite typical, except for some interesting commentary:

*Sigh*. I’m not sure if I prefer this discussion to the usual “gogogo” type chatter.
