Quick Tip: Interact With Target

I just wanted to share a quick tip with you. I know I have seen it mentioned somewhere before but promptly forgot about it, and perhaps others could use a reminder too.   

The cooking daily in Stormwind,”Feeling Crabby” always brings a groan to my lips. There never seem to be enough crabs, and the buggers refuse to stay still long enough for me to click on them.   

A way to make this far simpler, is to create a keybinding for “Interact With Target”.

All you have to do now is target the crab and spam your keybinding as you swim past it. No more failure to click, while someone else ninjas your crab! You can be the ninja now.   

This also works well for saving those adorable animals in Hyjal. Another usage is to interact with quest givers or vendors when some idiot with an enormous dragon mount lands on top of them – you can type /tar (where is the NPC’s name), and then use your Interact With Target keybinding instead of clicking.

    This tip is absolutely a lifesaver for the “save the wee critters” quest in Hyjal. It certainly kept me from yelling obscenities at squirrels the second time around.

    :o thank you so much for this tip. I’ve been pulling my hair out with the mudcrawlers I need to pick up for the cooking daily in Ogrimmar and I always seem to fail clicking on them.
