4.1 Caster Shaman Loot

I was very excited to dig into the loot pool of the new Zul’Aman and Zul’Gurub bosses that will be added in patch 4.1, coming Soon^TM. Blizzard has done a great job of supplementing our pre-raid gear with new ilevel 353 epics. Note that none of these are going to be as good as tier gear, valor point gear, any appropriate raid drops, epic craftables or epic reputation pieces, as those are all ilevel 359. They are however a good upgrade to any blues you may still have hanging around while you’re waiting for a raid drop or enough valor points. They are also great for people who haven’t started raiding yet or are gearing up alts. I’m definitely eyeing those bracers and the dagger or mace!

This list for the most part should apply to both resto and elemental shaman. I’ve made a note of any items that have hit or spirit on them.

You will need to have an average gear ilevel of 346 to enter these two higher tier heroics.

I don’t know about you, but I’m thrilled at the though of walking around in ridiculous purple troll gear. I think they will look especially stunning mixed with our glowing green Cataclysm first tier pieces. Yes, the models are revived from the original Zul’Aman and Zul’Gurub. Go ahead and cheer or jeer as you please.

• Shadowmender Wristguards - Zul’Aman: Halazzi – Thank goodness, another epic wrist possibility other than Chimaeron’s bracers. This will be a helpful one even for raiders

• Mojo-Mender’s Gloves - Zul’Aman: timed sacrifice event - (has spirit)

Cloak

• Hakkari Loa Drape - Zul’Gurub: Bloodlord Mandokir - (has hit)
• Spiritcaller Cloak – Zul’Gurub or Zul’Aman: BOE - (has spirit)

Weapons

• Voodoo Hexblade  – Zul’Aman: timed sacrifice event – Dagger
• Amani Scepter of Rites - Zul’Aman: Dakaara – Mace (has Spirit)
• Legacy of Arlokk - Zul’Gurub: Jin’do the Godbreaker – Staff – I’m not a huge fan of staves myself, but I suppose this would work in a pinch

Offhand

• Lost Bag of Whammies - Zul’Gurub: Any Edge of Madness boss
• Zulian Ward - Zul’Gurub: Jin’do the Godbreaker – The Elementium Stormshield is still BIS, so if you’re planning on raiding I would recommend having that crafted instead

Rings

• Shimmerclaw Band - Zul’Aman: Halazzi –  (has hit)
• Signet of Venoxis – Zul’Gurub: High Priest Venoxis
• Soul Drain Signet - Zul’Aman: Hex Lord Malacrass –  (has spirit)
